Statistics question

I've discovered that statistics does not show for "Smart Galleries". I have a gallery with actual images, let's call it "A". Then I have a gallery ("B") where instead of uploading images I setup a rule to display images from gallery "A".

The stats show hits ONLY for gallery "A", but NO hits for gallery "B".

Truly appreciate any info or advice.

I'm not SM, but FWIW, I see smart galleries show up in my stats just fine. They are there in the Popularity tab along with the normal galleries.
