DSS 111 - Too Many Choices

I am having so much trouble choosing one of my shots from my recent weekend at Mt. Ranier. I'm hoping you can help me decide. What a photogenic place! We had clear skies the first day, popcorn clouds the second, fog and low clouds the third, and a cloud about midway up on my way out.

I can't decide whether to go with a close up or more standard landscape.

Any nits or critiques?

Of these I think I like #1 the best. Feels like you are standing there taking in the whole view.

#1 and #2 feel so real, they both pull me in. Colors, texture and subject in both are amazing. #10 also has great texture, but feel the others fit the theme more appropriately.

#1 is my favorite of this group. bowdown.gif

    Ok, maybe just extremely envious.....

What a location! These are all beautiful images. #1 for the challenge, but I love #8 and #9 just cuz. Those flowers are gorgeous and that little chipmunk is too darned cute! I also like the one of the reflection (#4).

    Nice!

Thanks, Sherry! It was hard to keep the chipmunk in focus - slow shutter speed and constant motion. I really do feel like I live in paradise.

I'm glad you like that one! I was disappointed because the mountain was out about 5 minutes earlier and I just missed it. It wasn't till I got home that I realized what a gem that was. My camera LCD did not do it justice. Serendipity! Note to self: work with what is there.

All nice views. # 1 is nicer - the only thing is a little red/cyan fringe on the trees against the sky, but I guess it can be ignored again.

Thanks, Tatiana! I looked at the original and the fringing seems to have been aggravated in PP. I will have to fix that. Unfortunately, there was not time last night before the challenge closed.

Thanks, Greta! Most of the photos you will see from Reflection Lakes are sunny days. I was happy to get one that is a bit different.
