I've marked and unmarked this shot for deletion about 100 times. What do you all think?

I think if you like it...you like it. What's the problem?

Personally, I can't find any subject in the image ne_nau.gif

Well, the light and the sky are nothing special, for the overall landscape appeal I'd say you could do (have done) better, BUT, the light is good for highlighting the crossbedding on the wall in the lower right, at the very least you should save a crop of the lower right quadrant.

Both of you bring up the very reasons I'm luke warm about this shot. It's not strong enough on it's own merit to really be a compelling landscape shot. However, as a keep sake from my trip, it worth keeping.

    Thanks for the candid feedback.

I say, keep it. If I'm ever on the fence, I keep an image. If for no other reason than to refer back to it in the future.

Keep it, use it as a learning image (I mark these with a single star in Lightroom, then use filters to "hide" them until I want to see them)

ifit were mine, i'd probably toss it. the composition doesn't do much for me, and the light is pretty unfavorable.

Its an ok image. I can see why you waffle back and forth on whether to delete or not. too me it is nothing really special, it is just a photograph (to be brutally honest). it is part of documenting your tip and therefore it me be a keeper, but you will have to be the judge of that one.

Digital storage has never been cheaper, unless you have a SmugMug account that is. Sorry, I couldn't resist that last part, still a little bitter, I guess.

I would keep it, at large size that rock is fantastic! Don't like the sky but the tones are great.
