I have loved and used this camera for over 20 years.

Then I went digital and never picked it up again.

It's been stored in that case for several years now and was working the day I set it aside.

It's a shame that it's not getting used and as much as I loved it, I can't stand to see it so ignored.

So if someone feels they can treat her well and enjoy this old girl, she's yours as is with all pictured for the price of shipping w/i the USA.

Please PM or email if interested.

    I'd keep it.

I have a Minolta Maxuum 7000 with two lens that I haven't used since 2001.

Maybe take it to a local junior college for photography classes.

I am devesting myself of everything I have not used in two years.

So keeping it is not in the cards.

The local gift idea has merit.

    Thanx

    Good on ya!

btw, does anyone know if there are any schools that still use film cams? Local ones with which I'm familiar have switched to digital.

I sold thousands of those. . . . It is a great camera. How cool of you to pass it along.

Very cool to pay it forward. I did this same thing last weekend with some Trigmasters to a local girl.

Those (and others like it) are great to use for the Canon loyalty program, yes, Canon will accept old film cameras for the loyalty program. I sent in an old AE-1 for a refurb 5D MKII under the loyalty program. Just a thought.

I haven't loggged back in since my last post / PM exchange with the person who asked for it, so I missed all the replies.

Sorry, I wasn't ignoring this thread.
    Thank you for those. iloveyou.gif

After a few exchanges, I felt really good about letting him have it.
He got for the price of shipping, $20.

Sorry JDub, I hope you find one soon.
