Now thats a keeper Owen, nice job!
Isnt it too cold there to be shooting this weekend, especially wearing a camosile outside? lol
Kinda miss the Okanagan, sometimes...I was born and raised in Kelowna for 30 years, but have been in Edmonton for the last 10 years.
Keep up the nice work.
Cheers,
Tony
If a tree falls in the forest...did anyone get a picture of it?

An interesting comparison (and a horrible color cast caused by light filtering through red, dead leaves above and bouncing from the leaves on the ground). I used RGB curves for color correction and contrast adjustement & some dodging and burning at 5% strength to bring out highlights in her bone structure, face and hair, and of course, mild "highlight" dodging on her eyes to bring out the catchlights. A healing tool was also used to remove some blemishes (and a slight armpit rash... hehe)
Great work, Owen!
At the same time here are my thoughts:
1. Her right hand could be puted under her head to 'circle' the composition...
2. Her cheeks, forehead and end of nose look very artificial to me, esp. compared to hand and shoulder skin...
It seems that you are going *from* her Natural beauty to your own conception of 'artificial' one.
I made this (mistake) too, but folks here stopped me in time ... so I stopped... looked around and went back to Natural beauty...
Just my thoughts, sorry...

Yuri

Your work is great, too. I love the candidness.
