The idea is good but organising it not easy. Will most definitely come back in a month or so - should have worked out the logistics for us by then.

First shot is lovely, but I cannot see the bird, must be there somewhere.

    Hey Graphy

Arranging for a self-portrait in the wild may be difficult but I thought I'd help you out by posting this image of SoCal's very own machine-gun "shutter-thug" Ben.

He is fearless in his quest for pineapple, which he mistakenly believes grows high up in trees in Los Angeles.

The consolation for his erroneous ways is an occassional snap of some of our winged friends.

Interesting idea. Difficult if you have one camera and shoot alone. :D

Angelo, tell Ben those supports work much better at stabilizing the camera if you actually put the leg(s) ON THE GROUND.rolleyes1.gif

Sorry..if I gave that impression. I was just thinking....that often times I'm just carrying one camera. I'll never tell how many cameras I own. :uhoh :D (just the 1 DSLR though).

Somebody tell the vulture that that Ben and Jeff are not dead. They're just really old and don't move as fast as they use to. eek7.gif

You gotta be outta your mind!!!:crazy

You don't realize it but your VERY LUCKY!
The worst thing you can do is get anywhere near a Cub when Mama is around.
They will do ANYTHING to protect that Cub.
There have been people killed or severly mauled.

NEVER and I repeat NEVER under estimate or take chances with Mama Bear and Her cub. Even if they seem tame.

    GREAT PIC of the Cub!thumb.gifthumb.gif
    BUT.....you took a hellova risk!:grim
