Merging Two Accounts Question?

Hey all!

For a few years now I have had two SM accounts to avoid a conflict of interest - one Pro for my personal photos and one Power for my work related photos. I am planning to renew my Pro account as a portfolio and because I will no longer sell photos I can now post work related images in my Pro galleries. Is there an efficient way to transfer the images from my Power account to my Pro in order to consolidate everything? I would like to do this before my Power comes up for renewal in March. I have tested the zip file of a gallery via email and it works well, but I thought there might be another way.

Hi Bill,

If you write us at the Helpdesk we can move the galleries from one account to the other for you. Note they would not remain in the first account however.

Thanks Tristan, that will work very well instead of having to request a zip file for each gallery. My intentions are to close the first account and just keep the Pro. Do you recommend that I wait until March when the account comes up for renewal or, if I close it earlier is there a pro-rated credit that can be applied towards my Pro account?

I'd recommend that you wait closer to your renewal date since we can't offer partial refunds or credits to other accounts.
