This is my second shoot with Erica who has the most amazing eyes that change color to reflect the lighting.
She's 5'1". If that was 5'11" she'd be signed in NY tomorrow afternoon.

First of all.. Holy Moly Guacamole!. If I weren't married. Jeez Louis.

Ok... now that that piece of business is out of the way....

You absolutely rocked the exposure/lighting on this series. Really great stuff. Probably your best yet. LOVE 3/4/5. Five is the best shot in the lot with 4 as a close second. Take a look at all the shots and you can figure out why 5 is the best one.

BTW, I never ever click on the link to your galleries. I am for this one. Right now.

John, here's what suddenly dropped into my head as I looked at this thread again: in your last couple of sets I feel like you're finally seeing the SHOT instead of the just the model. Does that make sense?

It's that "magazine quality" which has sometimes been lacking, but which you're now getting quite regularly for at least part of each set. Analyze what you're doing+make it repeatable = quality work. thumb.gif

Bryce, steal away but you need the release from Erica, not me.deal.gif

Thanks Hack. Always appreciate that coming from you.mwink.gif

Cuban - you actually went to a Gallery. Now that's EPIC!! wings.gif

Diva, the fact that you and Zoomer plucked a raw nerve didn't stop me from thinking about what you said. Maybe we had to argue it out to be effective, but I have definitely shifted my shoots to "look more than shoot".

It started with Aennas' bikini catalogue shoot where I did, in fact, look at her as the clothes hanger for the bikinis, barely noticing that she's a tall, GORGEOUS woman. Maybe doing an actual product shoot with pressure to make the bikinis and jewelry look best was a good thing.

As you (and others) have noticed, I've started including catalogue and lifestyle into all my shoots. I've decided this is more valuable since I work with a lot of models who are never going to see a runway or Vogue editorial.

    Cuban,

Take a close look at the websites in my sig. This change is just bringing it all together.

There's actually a story to Bilsen but I'll save it for when it won't bore people.

Now go look at the thread dedicated to you.

Great job, Bilsen. I think this is your best work to date that I've seen. Gorgeous model, but that's obvious. thumb.gifthumb.gif
