If I can just be a mom for a moment....
This isn't about the technicals - due to a massive traffic jam that delayed us getting home so she could change and get ready, I barely had time to grab these and I certainly didn't have time to charge my flash batteries; so it's a miracle that any of them came out at all, frankly. I know the flash is harsh and not perfectly balanced with the dusk light.
But this is still my baby girl ... all dressed up for her first homecoming dance. :lust :lust

i learned a while ago that if every photo had to be perfect i would have trashed most of what I have. for what its worth I actually really like it and think the lighting works. it doesn't always have to be perfectly balanced!
