The continuation from my other post, Chloe & Maggie. Ashleigh is my gorgeous baby girl, as some of you already know, and the rest are her dance friends.

Ashleigh (I didn't get to shoot very much of her unfortunately but at least i got some that I love)

thanks everyone. for those questioning the lighting..all of Ashleigh and the last 4 of Alayna were all natural light. (so all of the field ones were natural light) only a few of alayna under the tree sitting were with an umbrella on the ground in front of her (no flash) as a reflector, and one of them i did have the flash set through the umbrella camera left, number 8. this wasn't a paid deal just for me and my friends to play around so I was experimenting a little with different things.

Just when I thought I was getting good I see these. I love when the rule of thirds can be broken. But I do think 11 doesn't stand up with the others.

An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.

WOW. that is really quite a compliment, I don't even know what to say ... thank you! I remember being so terrified to post on here because I thought there was no way I could ever match up to the talent here, since honestly i'm an accountant by day, and have never been the artistic type. I learned a lot of what I know on this board.
I'm never truly satisfied with my work but that's what keeps me motivated to improve I guess!
