Hi, This is my first submission to this site. I took this image this summer at the Arlington National Cemetery. I just happened to be walking around when this happened. I don't know who the soldier was but who ever it was had a large family that walked just behind the honor guard, off frame. Hope you all like it. (5D MK II)

    Hi Kyle,
Nice catch and a poignant reminder of the sacrifice made by soldiers and their families on our behalf.

Exposure is well balanced between sun and shade and I like the tie-in between the statue and the procession.
Looks better larger on flicker - feel free to post larger here, if you wish.
Because of the beautiful setting the crop feels centered and a bit tight to me, no biggie.

I think Eric summed it up nicely.

Thanks everyone, glad to be here. I didn't have any type of formal training, so your critiques are very much welcome. It's hard to accept your family and friends word esp when they really don't know what to look for. I have only gotten serious about this 4 months ago. I originally wanted to go into film making but no one in our area was into that sort of thing, and you really need a crew for that. So photography was the next best thing.
