This is the historic Cosmopolitan Hotel in Old Town - San Diego.
It is said that - back in the day - a fair amount of "adult entertainment" took place in the upstairs rooms. :wink

I love your PP work with this one, Eric. Excellent conversion. Very good composition and chosen perspective as well. This place looks like I could really enjoy spending some time there.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thanks for your feedback and support Tom!
There is a very charming courtyard eatery inside where I'm sure they have lemons and fermented agave juice. mwink.gif

All processing done manually in LR3.

Thanks for the look Rags - appreciate it!

Thanks Tom! Come on down!.... You're already on the correct coast. :D
Although, I don't know why a person would ever leave your region - massive beauty and history up there - I hope to visit again someday.

Thanks for the kind feedback Randy - it's always good to understand when comps appeal to the eye of the viewer.
Shot with a Sigma 10-20mm @ 16mm, so processing included significant distortion correction to fix converging verticals.

I think the same could be said for all hotels and motels . Upstairs or downstairs, especially if there is alcohol involved.

Hi Juano! Thanks for the support - appreciated.
The best part was, after the shot, I went inside and had some killer shrimp tacos - most photo subjects don't give back like that!
BTW, if a person hasn't eaten Mexican Food in San Diego, you just ain't livin' - good salsa has changed my life! :D
