Hello all,
This is my first post and would like some help in an area where I am improving but still stumbling at the same time. This is organizing group shots. I am a fan of the Vanity Fair style and would like to know if anyone knows of any diagrams that I can study, but more so I would like to know how most go about organizing their group shots when they have 5 or more.
1. Lens choice
2. Aperture
3. Order as well. eg. bride and groom with ..... and so forth

VF style? is that where folks are sitting/standing in different poses/chairs? the arrangement of the folks would pretty much dictate the lens choice and aperture. My reccomendation would be the use the longest focal length you can get away with to avoid distortion effects..for aperture well, again depends on the "spread" of the folks..f/8 would be good starting point.
