    Nice macro work. Nice crisp edges and blurred background. It seems a little flat though. Maybe a little use of "curves" could bring out some depth in the flower. I think I see the hint of shadows in the middle and some lines on the petals.

    Keep posting. Your work looks promising. :D

    Day Lillies are a favorite subject of mine too. You just can't go wrong with a pretty flower. 1drink.gif

    I agree with Snapapple that the image is sharp and colorful. Perhaps shot with electronic flash - on camera maybe too?:cry

    You might try late afternoon sunlight sometime for an alternative light source. And if it were me, I would clone out the bright yellow spot in the upper right corner as bright spots near the edge of images tend to be distracting to the viewers eye.thumb.gif
