Problem with BBCODE link in phpbb

I just tried to post this forum link in a phpbb forum (Share-->Get a link-->Embeddable Links-->Forums):
[php][/php]

It works fine here on vb-based forums:


But on a phpbb-based forum, the "!" breaks the code.

Hello Samir,

I've verified this on a phpbb forum I admin. When I post just the code in doesn't work unless I delete the ! just before the Image ID and then it works fine and links to your site like it should.

I will pass this on to our QA team. For now, you will need to remove the exclamation point from the URL portion of the code.

Thank you for verifying the issue. A workaround that I've found is to use a shortened link to the image and then replace the long url with the short one.
