Obviously I'm not seeing it.
EDIT: unless it's the fact that those sneakers are so clean-- obviously just purchased. Anyone with kids knows that they get all scuffed and dirty approximately .003 seconds after being put on.

I'm sure it's meaningful for the family that made it.
Yes, I think we live in different worlds. I guess I don't see a juxtaposition here-- my professional, catholic school librarian wife has more tattoos on her arms than that guy. And every once in a while we buy our not-so-little-anymore guy new sneakers. They're usually clean for a few minutes, anyway.
EDIT: and I almost misread your fist line as "I can't stand tilting images." And I thought, neither do I. It makes me seasick!

What makes this shot work for me isn't so much an assumed juxtaposition of Class, that's irrelevant to me. Rather the geometry and composition. It doesn't rock my world or anything, but it is a fine example of looking and seeing all the time.
Aww... are you going to start sulking??...
Did you think your reentry would spare you aggravation?... Nah not here..
+ I like the connection between the sneakers and the arm.
- The blurry jeans/pants or whatever. Frankly, it totally ruins it for me.
