A few from 2006 that I've been waiting until my skills got up to speed on processing;

Wish I shot RAW then, but it's fun going through these anyhow.

    Really like Grand View Point, Walter, because it is so nicely different from the archetypical G.C. shot.
    Here, the mid-day light makes for strong illumination and creates a really different color palate. thumb.gif

    Thank you Eric. I'm at sort of a toss-up between the first two. I like the somewhat 'rhombic' composition of the first, and definitely the primeval colors of it, but the second has what one friend has described as a "cold polaroid" look. I like that too. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have a print of each. :-) My fondness for the third may all be sentimental. I shared the sunrise with my Grand Daughter- and everything else goes out the window when I'm with her. It is hard to get something unique out of all that grandeur. I can't wait to try again.

    I like the Hopi point shot. With the lighted cliff face on the right and the row of ridges going off to the distance.
