a couple of "late bloomers" at the park across the street this afternoon... we've had such a long stretch of warm, dry weather that many flowers are still in bloom even in mid-October!

Have the same here. Went for a walk this morning to take some fall color pictures, but 98% of the trees are still green.

Beautiful flowers and lovely shots. I love the colours - quite intense. I have a white rose bush that has been trying to bloom too, although today's 0C temperature and threatening snow may put an end to that idea.
