Dreaming of 4000 (Waterfall)

I've shot these falls quite a bit and usually the flow is much heavier, but not this year. So I took the opportunity to walk on the other side of the brook (where there is no path, and no bridge so you either have to get wet or wait until the water is low). I got to see the falls as if I'd never been there before. Our granite ledges change the aspect of a place so much that it doesn't look like it's the same place. I don't think I'm describing it well, but in any case, it afforded me some creative challenges and I rather think these work as a set. A lot of my inspiration came from seeing the trickling falls from a high place and at angles I'd never seen before.

Middle gorge, below the main falls, which I can show you from another day if you want to see 'em. They weren't too impressive on this trip -

Normally you can't get down in here due to the force of the water, but today some tripod contortions were in order! Oh and the water isn't normally confined to just that little slot, either. So fun.

I've shot this pool and these lower cascades before, but with all the birch and beech leaves in the water - bam! psychedelic mayem!

Anyway...that's the other side of Senter falls. Thanks for taking a look.
