Hi there folks..........had myself a day off yesterday I did whoohooo!! The sky wasn't looking real good and I had no idea if it was going to rain or what it was going to do, so I thought I will just keep driving....if it rains it rains. :dunno

This is a Tawny Frog Mouth Owl, and my oh my doesn't he look real happy NOT! :rolleyes

They imitate branches of trees and really most times you cannot see them because they really do look like part of the tree.

This fellow reminds me of a stuck up Butler and I could just imagine him say to me "Well Frankly Sweetheart I Don't Give A Damn!"Canon 20D with 400mm and Tamron Ext attached, Tripod used < --- got to give the new Manfrotto a bit of a whirl......I love it but gosh it's heavy.

Enjoy.................. Skippy (Australia) :D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Well my day off almost ended in a disaster eek7.gif
On the way home on the open road an elderly driver decided to do an illegal turn right in front of me ........ I prayed out loud Oh God make him move or help me get round him.

I had to brake hard, and try and go around him ...... the lady sitting in the passenger seat of the other car, raised her hands to her face in horror expecting me to hit them, but thank God I got around him ........ I don't know what he was doing, but he appeared to be lost........ I hope they got home alright.

Thursday is the Big Day Out clap.gifclap.gif that's if the Weather Man does his job, and gives us a nice day :D I hope I can post a nice Mandrill shot, or even some butterfly shots........thats the plan thumb.gif glad you liked the bird.
