Selling photos without Business account

I’m sorry that I have to ask this kind of question. My apologies to Smugmug.
Why do I want to sell photos without getting Business level subscription?
  • I’m not a pro. I don’t sell photos for living.
  • Very occasion sales, maybe a few photos per year. It definitely don’t worth getting $300 Business account.

All the features I need is:
  • Sell your photos
  • Set your own prices
  • My own branded shopping cart
Can someone recommend a 3rd party service so I can link to? I still keep all my photos in Smumug Portfolio account.

If you're not planning on selling your photos at a profit (or conducting a bunch of online sales), then one of our other account types (such as Portfolio, or Power) may be right for you. Check out a comparison here:

If, occasionally, someone wants to order photos from you, you could always order these yourself (from your site), and then provide them to your client in person. They could then pay when you deliver them.

I do want to sell at a profit. The idea is to start small and upgrade to Business account when my profit can cover the $300. I need my client to be able to order their prints on their own instead of going through me.

I don't believe I can do this within Smugmug. That's why I'm asking if anyone knows a good online service that only handles photo ordering/fulfillment for me. I'll outsource that part.

I dont want to highjack this thread but I am having the opposite problem. On my power site the buy and share tabs are across the top and people can order their own prints at little to no cost. $.75. I want to stop that. It is probably something simple that I am overlooking but I dont know where.

You need to go into the settings for the album(s) and turn off printing - it's near the bottom.

Another SM mistake making "On" the default value. Prints should only be for sale when the photographer explicitly turns sales on.
