Thoughts? Gave my G9 to my wife. Thinking of a 7100?
Thanks

I've got the P7000 and love it. I believe nikon has introduced the P7700. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=Nikonp7700&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma&Top+Nav-Search=

From the specs, it looks like the P7700 dropped ISO by a stop, added a stop to the lens and added some more pixels. I was wondering how the IQ of the two compared. There isn't a DxO report on it yet.

The P7700 is also up $150 here, and has no viewfinder. Why would they drop the viewfinder? I know with my G9, the battery would last longer with the live view off. The P7100 is on the top of my shopping list. Had a serious look at the D7000 body, but I really like having a good P&S in the bag.

As far as the viewfinder goes, I never use the one on my P7000.
