Senior Football Portraits

The photog that works with the sports program at the high school here in Salmon, broke her camera.
She called me up and asked if I could help her out with the senior project.
They try to make a "themed" shoot....
They shoot the senior members of the team's portrait each year. They have a special "senior night" and the parents give each member their "team shot" in a pre-game ceremony....
This year, because of the "fire season", it was also the first time they could play at home due to air quality!
I jumped at the chance to help, if they would agree to let me play a bit.
It took three shoots to get everyone in the team photo and the portrait imaging we did before the night practice.

I really like the portraits. The very wide aspect ratio, the use of the stadium light as a hair highlight, the post-processing.

Like the individual shots a whole bunch! Great way to tell the story and make the images interesting.

For the group shot, I'm thinking somewhere in the middle between one and two would be perfect. But, as I'm sure you are well aware, that is an individual taste thing.
