I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Thanks for the kind words, Cristobal. It was a great day for this kind of shooting. This shot is straight out of the camera. As you would suppose, though, I was using a circular polarizer.

    We were fortunate, Mary, to have had many days like this on this trip. Fall weather high in the Appalachians can be very dicey....but that's all part of the charm of the region.

    It was that sky, Randy, that sucked me into snapping this one. I just couldn't ignore the golden leaves against such a background.
