I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Hi Mary,

The Appalachian high country was awash in great color this year. This scene just caught my eye.

    Take care,

    Nicely seen and composed image.

Looks as though the colors were just about "full color" for your visit. That's hard to hit just right.

    Hi Pard,

Catching full colors is always problematic. That's why I try and devote at least two weeks to these trips. Knowledge I've gained over all these years also helps me in picking where to be and when to be there.

    Take care, buddy,

    Tom

Nice, Tom! Love the contrast between the trees and canoes. I've been making day trips out on the Blue Ridge Parkway the past three or four weekends, I'll have to get off my lazy butt and post a few...

Yea, John, let's see some of the stuff you're shooting. As far as I'm concerned, it's hard to beat getting out on the BRP and just cruising. I've ridden that road from one end to the other on 4 different occasions....three of which were on my motorcycle.

I hope you're enjoying living in Charlotte,

    Tom
