Greetings! It’s been a while. I’m going to miss Andy, but it looks like he landed well.

I'm selling a Really Right Stuff L-Plate for the Canon 5D Mark II (B5D2-L). L-Plates from RRS plus their compatible ball heads etc. are the cats meow: mount your camera quickly and securely in either landscape or portrait orientation. For detailed info see:

http://reallyrightstuff.com/ProductDesc.aspx?code=Pano-Elem-Pkg&type=3&eq=&desc=Pano-Elements-Package%3a-For-single-row&key=it

I'm also selling one for the original EOS 5D: B5D-L (black)

SIDEBAR: The 5D2 is sold, and the 5D has been offered, sale pending. My new 5D3 (bought through this forum) is fabulous.

The third item for sale is the RRS Pano Elements Package for single row panorama shooting. See

http://reallyrightstuff.com/ProductDesc.aspx?code=Pano-Elem-Pkg&type=3&eq=&desc=Pano-Elements-Package%3a-For-single-row&key=it

The Elements package consists of two items:
The MPR-CL II: Multi-Purpose Rail with integrated Clamp 7.4” 7oz.. ($140 purchased separately from RRS)

And the PCL-1 Panning Clamp ($235 from RRS)

For shooting single-row panoramas the RRS Pano Elements Package combines the essential pieces of equipment that can make shooting panoramas a snap. Cribbing from RRS wording:
PCL-1 Panning Clamp. Add the panning clamp to your ballhead. Rotate your ballhead until the the panning clamp is level. In seconds, you've created a level surface for your camera and for panning.

MPR-CL II Nodal Slide. Mount the nodal slide in the panning clamp. Then mount your camera in the clamp at the end of the MPR-CL II. Now you can slide your camera back until the optical center of the lens is positioned directly over the axis of rotation (i.e., the midpoint of the panning clamp).

By placing the optical center of the lens directly over the axis of rotation, a landscape photographer can take multi-shot panoramas that include close-up foreground with the foreground lining up with the distant objects in each shot (most of you know this, but some may not). It works like a charm!

I know: I've done it. I should post an example, but there are many already here.

All these items are in excellent condition. As you may know, RRS products are superbly engineered, and they are likely to last longer than their owners.

Prices:
5D L-Plate: $90 (new from RRS $140)
5D2 L-Plate $100 (new from RRS $140)
Pano Elements package for $325 (These items sell separately at RRS for a total of $375, or as a package new from RSS for $360.)
PM me if interested. I’ll pick up PayPal fees, and ground shipping (continental US only).
