Release notes only mention f/8 and hdmi.

Just finished update and it did not brick the camera, so that's a good sign

OK, so I mis-read the update notice. I hadn't done 1.1.3 and thought that was what Canon was announcing. The update for HDMI and F/8 will not be available until April next year. It was just a pre-announcement :

Yeah, no red. Seems like that would have been trivial. And 6 months???
