So after looking at the comments in my post. I went back and looked and tried a few different things then came up with this.

i-Q8bSWPz-X2.jpg

Better, worse, indifferent? I use LR3 for most all of the processing as my ps skills I just dont feel are up to par for this style of photography yet.

    Thanks Guys!

I was really stuck on why the arm was a distraction until a discussion with a friend. Apparently her doctorate in art is useful! She explained some things to me and i could almost feel the light bulb click on!

Thanks for the pointers and comments, I do plan to try to be more active a member here since I'm getting more into the people part of photography and understanding things better.

Definitely a better crop. Still has some technical issues with shadows, etc. but I agree that it looks much better this way.

I agree Brett. A local friend of mine turned me on to a "Retoucher" she uses. I am going to see if she can help me out a little on this one to remove that shadow a bit and do a better job on the camera right edit.

What other issues are you referring to?
