largest file

hi all,

whats the largest file that I can upload?

I have a 20 min HD movie from a wedding that I wanted to upload. It is 3.6 GB in size and says the file is to large.

never mind... found info that it file is over 3gb it is too large... Come on Man!

Would be easy to split the video into part 1 & 2.

Even at 20min, 3GB should be plenty. If your files are still larger than that, you can easily convert your videos. Get the Handbrake tool from www.handbrake.fr . Open your video in it, select the 'regular > normal profile' and click on convert. Once done, you'll end up with a file that uploads much faster at still great quality.

Keep in mind that any video you upload, is just used to create our video sizes and then is discarded. So there's little use in uploading videos with very high bitrates as it would only result in a lot longer upload times due to the very large file size.
