Little background. I'm currently stationed at one of the United States Antarctic Program's research stations in Antarctica. What was supposed to be a six month deployment has turned into eleven months. I've made it through the winter and now summer is getting ready to start. Last night we had one of the best sunsets I've seen while down here.

Furious, nice shot. I love the color, and the single bird leads to the isolation felt. Maybe now that summer is there for you, there's a chance of more photo opportunities. Hope it goes well!

Very nice, indeed. I love the cobalt blue shade of the snow. That, combined with the gold of the sunset and the reddish orange of the clouds, is an awesome tri-color combo.
