My homepage - removing Smugmug info

When I look at my Smugmug site not being logged in, I see at the bottom of the page this:

Photo Sharing by SmugMug · Login · Contact · Help · Portions © 2012 SmugMug, Inc.
Available Feeds

I don't want my visitors be distracted by anything like this. I have a paid account and have my own website address, not SmugMug, but it is linked to SM ( http://www.lanasundman.com ). I was wondering if there is a way to remove these words from my homepage. And if so, how do I do that? (I log in via SmugMug website, not my own website anyway.)
Thanks!

Your site is already set to use the smaller mini footer and that can't be removed. If you don't wish the login, shopping cart or help link to show, you can disable it in the Tools > Easy customizer > footer section.

Thanks for your reply. I looked at the Footer in Easy Customizer but didn't find anything that lets me to remove the Login, shopping cart, etc. All I see is this:
SmugMug Footer (two options of Full and Mini SM footers)

Custom Footer (None, Choose image, Text)

    and then the dimensions.

Monaco - sorry, totally unrelated question: I like your images very much and while browsing through them noticed that while some do have watermark a good amount of images are full size, high resolution files without any protection (watermark). I am just curious - was it your intention to upload them like that or an accidental omission?

As to your original question - it would be interesting to hear an answer why you, a paying customer, have no easy way of removing your provider's advertisement (which the footer with the company's name is) :)

mishenka, I've no idea why I can't remove anything I don't want to appear on my page. SM wouldn't give me that answer either...

As for the watermarks - I'm still working on my collections, uploading here and there, resizing, etc. I'm not sure if I can do a batch resize and watermark though. I may be able to but I haven't figured out how to do that. Still fiddling with the settings.

I initially was creating my images already with the watermark prior to uploading them to smugmug. But lately decided in favor of smugmug watermarking functionality. Depending on type of the paid account you have you might be able to do the same. Please read my reply in this thread: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=228055

Regarding image sizes - all depends if you want to sell via smagmug. If this is your intention - I believe it makes sense to upload hi-res images so the better sizes and quality can be printed eventually. But in your Gallery Settings page I'd suggest to designate the maximum size that you allow viewers to access: you have options like Small, Large, Extra Large, etc. and even Original. So, simply make sure original is not the selected option and smugmug takes care to protect your originals from accessing. it will be available only for printing by the lab

Four customizations including javascript, and at the end it still will not remove the smumug's advertisement... I do not find it fair to a paying customer. Especially considering the fact the Pro service is advertised in a way that makes you unequivocally believe the site will be completely and entirely under your brand: look at this page: http://www.smugmug.com/pro/branding, look at these words: "You've probably admired many of the web's most beautiful photography sites without knowing they were powered by SmugMug."

Denise - I assume you do not work for SmugMug, so the above comments are not directed to you personally. On a contrary I admire your expertise and how much you help others on this forum.

Just to confirm, I do not work for SmugMug; I'm a customer like you.

    Thanks for your compliment!

Monaco, regarding your original question about the footer - read up this post, perhaps you can relate to it: It's MY website or much ado about... footer?

"Why? What is the reason?" Even Mr. Bonocore's website has the footer hidden."

    Michael,

You too can do the exact same customization. My footer is not hidden, simply embedded in a copyright symbol. As I stated in that thread, you are allowed to do this.
