    I know that some folks are absolute purists and I never find fault in that though I do sometimes wonder... that said, this last shot could be markedly improved by cloning out the bright white poles which immediately draw my eye and just about won't let it go to the trees and the road. Just a thought.

    thanks, Doc... i tend to agree, and would probably do just that if i wanted to print this. as it is, it was just sort of a grab shot, so i didn't put as much into the PP as i otherwise might... ;)

    hmmm. I love old byways and fall colors and the two combined are a nice touch. Since the subject is mainly about the road, I like the roadside markers. Others may think the subject is the fall colors, but then why include the road. I love old guardrails, fences, stone walls, etc. along back country roads. The fall colors are just an added bonus that make me want to drive that road! Nice shot.
