We had our church Halloween party last night and the teenagers setup activities for the younger kids. One of them was a photo station. I volunteered some of my stuff and helped out...

Lighting was an AB800 in a Softliter II with black seamless for the backdrop. Here are a few that I liked...

#1 PP with a little Topaz Adjust...

    Good stuff.

The somewhat sparse teeth make the last candidate look rather Voldemotian. ;)

Well done! These are perfectly lit and the props are just right. I've never used the softlighter with my bees. I may need to give this a try.

Thanks, I wish I could take credit for the props but they were added by someone else...

I really like the combination of the softliter and the AB's. Let us see what you do with it...

It looks to me that the Softliter cannot be purchased online, and no prices were posted. Did you purchase from a dealer location? It sounds very interesting and I have an AB......

You can get it from BHPhotoVideo: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/75852-REG/Photek_SL_6000_Umbrella_Softlighter_II.html

I have the 60" one. They make smaller ones as well.
