    Thanks. Those are great. D800 + 300/2.8 = a dream combo. I didn't get any slide tackles or battles for headers this season, but they don't happen much in U11!

    Except that EVERYONE knows you can't shoot sports with a D800. I wish I had a dime for everyone who told me that. Eventually, I was like yea I know. Somehow I'll stumble through it...

    I got the same reaction when using a Canon 5DII; a horrible sports camera, except that I've had quite a number of images produced from that body picked up by the media. Go figure...

    Beyond a certain level of IQ, it is all about your definition of acceptable keeper ratio.
