Anybody else experiencing the after effects of candy day? I didn't have any candy, but I sure wore my massive costume about 5 hours too long (while working a photo booth none-the-less). It was interesting to shoot these since they all turned out best when I shot from about 3 inches from the floor.... next time remind me not to have such a pouffy costume. I am sure glad I am the one with the camera, haaa!

(These are all straight out of camera, shot jpeg low res and immediately uploaded to facebook and then downloaded from facebook to share with you guys, so sorry about the resolution.)
We had a good time though.

Here is a group photo of the team that put on the event. Truly Mad Hatter-esque!

We did get a couple of us though. There were a couple red queens. (I am the one on camera right)

<img class="p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter" title="416971_10151122049792957_1714253435_n" src="http://www.ambienceak.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/416971_10151122049792957_1714253435_n.jpg" alt="" width="480" height="720" />
And then there is Oxana.
<img class="p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter" title="560580_10151121993947957_1608855781_n" src="http://www.ambienceak.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/560580_10151121993947957_1608855781_n.jpg" alt="" width="446" height="669" />

I knew that we wouldn't have time to properly document our incredible costumes while we were shooting the photo booth, so my second shooter (Oxana) and I coerced our hubby's to dress up on Sunday afternoon so we could properly document our own amazingness with a sunset photo shoot.

Here is Oxana's dashing Ivan:

Isn't Oxana just stunning? Oh yes she is. *And she is a great little photographer too. Here are some of her photos of me and my huz:

(We are the queen of hearts and the knave of hearts)

<img title="www.ambienceak.com" src="http://www.ambienceak.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Masque-2012-1435-Edit.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" />

And here is my little pink queen:

(This is what you get when you let loose a 9 year old girly-girl into a costume store with no restrictions on costume options: The pink haired queen.)

<img title="www.ambienceak.com" src="http://www.ambienceak.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Mask-2012-1600-Edit.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="900" />

And here is Andrew. Yes I know he had almost the same costume last year, BUT he just HAD to have that sword involved somehow.

<img title="www.ambienceak.com" src="http://www.ambienceak.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Mask-2012-1668-Edit.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="600" />

We still need to shoot Gracie's photos of her costume... she was a cute little butterfly. But at least you get a smattering of our fun.

    That is just ridiculously wonderful, Heather. Was the Alice theme a party, or just for Halloween fun with the family? Regardless, so brilliant. I bow down not only to your photographic excellence (which we already knew about) but your endless supply of imagination. And FUN!!! I have NO IDEA how you find the time for all these amazing things (as well as running a business and 3 kids and a host of auntie duties and ... and... and... and...).

    PS #2 is jawdropping - looks like Vogue concept image, or very high end promo for a film (in the GOOD way, on both counts).

    Aw thanks Diva... It was a Mad Hatter's Tea Party, so yes... Alice themed. (Thus the photo booth that is super small. It was made to look like the subjects had eaten too much upelkuchen and grown to the ceiling like Alice.)
