I actually shot a bug!

Well, a spider with a bug, anyway. Not that I'm in Brian's league or anything, but this is pretty damn good for me and my wholly manual and highly cumbersome rig.



She moved a lot, determined not to be photographed (a shy beauty), but I persisted and was glad my ring flash was still alive at the time. Anyway...I kind of dig it and since I rarely shoot insects, it's a keeper for me.

Really? Huh. They're quite common here in NH. They come in this lovely pink, yellow and beige/tan. Always ready to spring the trap shut it seems.
