As some of you know I work for the Cincy Airport
About every 3 to 5 years we have a disaster drill to hone everyone’s skills in the event of an emergency.

Over the past 10 years, we (Electric Dept) have had less and less to actually do at these things.
It's more for the fire and police agencies in the tri state area.

Which turned out good for me...I was ask to take photos since I was not doing anything anyway.
I don't post to many people photos but it was fun and good experience.

All taken with 20d and 70-200 f2.8 IS L
Cloudy day no sun at all
Taken in raw then used ps batch to smart sharpen and save to .jpg

Maybe next time I can do a better job :dunno

Thanks
Fred

    Hi john, fred...

I heard that soon they are going to start letting people climb the Purple People bridge(for a fee). Suppose to be the first "attraction" of its kind in the U.S. Did either of you hear this?

My favourite is the two firemen leaning over the girl lying on her back. Great colour, composition and I'm drawn to see what they are doing. Great pics. Bruce

    Good job, Fred!
Very colorful, 'reporteur' photos. Maybe time has come for newspaper photo agent?

Bruce thanks for the nice comments
Thats two of the airports finest CFR

Funny story the last time we had this drill we had a plane come in on fire the night before the drill (abt 11:00pm).
No one on the plane got hurt it was a small cargo fire.

Everyone thought that this was the drill we figured the airport was getting tricky.
But not the case it was real..I drove a bus to pickup people all over the runway.

Then we had to come back in early to do it all over again for the drill :D
That one wore me out umph.gif

    Yuri thanks for the comments
