Nice Eric! I like them both. It is true the first is unsettling, but that's why it works. I agree with Richard that a human or animal figure to break the geometrical pattern would have been nice, but you can't have it all...
#2 is cool. Wish there had been a dog or something else besides the geometry, though.
Thanks for the look and comment Richard.
I love dogs, but if there was one in my picture I would probably be sharpening my cloning skills.
But, I would not have objected to something else - something totally unexpected perhaps.

Hey Cristobal, thanks for the kind feedback - but don't tempt me, I might just composite in a clown or a frog or ?????
... or a bronze gorilla, or whatever your profile picture is!
! Isn't he handsome?
The San Diego Zoo has bronze busts of several of the most beloved Lowland Gorillas that have lived there over the years - I believe this one is Albert, he even has a namesake restaurant in the Zoo.

Thanks leaforte - I'll take unsettling as a valued reaction, I think it was partially my goal.
Tilts are always tricky.....
Thanks for the comment David, much appreciated.

I promise you it's better than a picture of me.
