Went to see the Endeavour at it's new hanger at the California Science Museum in Los Angeles on Halloween, the day after the exhibit opened. The Endeavour is housed in a very small temporary hanger with spot lighting but you can get very close to it. New exhibit is set to open in 5 years. It'll then be positioned in the vertical take off position with booster rockets.

Really nice shots - that indoor lighting is always tricky.
I'm looking forward to scooting up there to see the beast.
    Thanks for sharing.

Terrific series, Tom. When last I visited her sister ship, Enterprise, at the Dulles annex of the Air and Space Museum, you couldn't get beneath her like that (Enterprise has since been replaced by Discovery, but I haven't been back since the replacement). Due to other exhibits and the layout of the space, it was really difficult to get any kind of pulled-back shots, either.

Hm... I gotta get out there and visit Discovery sometime soon.

6 and 7 are fantastic. I think I'd like 6 better with more even lighting to make it even more abstract, although the vignetting does pull your focus in. Just a field of identical tiles. Very cool.

Thanks for posting! That first one is a great perspective and the B&W look of #7 makes it look like it's in space.
