Shot through fogged glass

Took this during a very wet and humid day in Costa Rica. The back of my lens got fogged up when I switched it out. Didn't realize it until after I took a few shots. This is one of the shots with the fogged lens. I kind of like the effect. What do you all think?

It doesn't spoil things, that's for sure. It could be a fogged lens or just foggy air. Looks pretty good.

    Beautiful!

Funny, before I read what you wrote, just looking at the image alone, I assumed it was the Pacific Northwest somewhere. Great DOF, everything is in focus. Must have been a very calm day, too; the milky water says it was a slow shutter speed, but the leaves and everything else are frozen sharply in place.
What I said when I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time: "The wide ain't wide enough and the zoom don't zoom enough!"

Thanks Will. This area was very sheltered. Very dense forest so no wind. Come to think of it, I don't remember it ever being windy in Costa Rica, other than right on the coast.

I like the effect too. That's happened to me before as well when taking a camera from an air-conditioned room out into tropical humidity. Mine was even more fogged than that. I think this shot might benefit from rolling back the highlights a little bit, or maybe you've already done that as much as you can. Great spot for a picture.

    Joel,

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, it's happened to me several times but always to the point I couldn't see through the glass. I didn't even notice this time until after several shots.

I did bring down the highlights as much as possible. The fogged glass give the highlights a glowing kind of look.
