Password Protected Galleries

I have a few password protected galleries and I've had 3 people now tell me they can't get in them despite talking them through the passwords and making sure they had the case correct. The first person I figured they must be doing something wrong, but now having 3 people with the same problem I'm starting to wonder if its not something else.
Any ideas?

Most likely you have "frames" enabled on your godaddy site, or you are using godaddy's "web forwarding." In order for smugmug's password protection to work properly, you have to have CNAME forwarding enabled.
Here's the relavent help page:
http://www.smugmug.com/help/godaddy.mg
Without proper CNAME forwarding, the passwords won't work. You can validate that the passwords DO work, by LOGGING out, and going to
gshutter.smugmug.com and the password protected gallery - input the password and you'll see that it's fine.
So, go to Godaddy, set it up with CNAME fowarding as explained in our help section, and you'll be fine. Holler back if you need help further.
All the best,
Andy

How do you handle this?

We only support CNAME forwarding. Some folks get the other work, but we can't support it becuase we change our IP addresses from time to time.
Thanks.

I also got your email and appreciate all the help. I'll take care of those couple images sometime tomorrow and let you know about reprints. Might not worry about it but I'll let you know...
I also just recently reloaded photoshop and that profile got set back and I had forgotten about it. Thanks for that as well...
