Color bleeds

I don't think I've posted them here, but lately I've been doing a lot of brook shots in color because the moss and the leaves look so rich this time of year. After Hurricane Sandy the water levels rose nicely. Sometimes though, a traditional approach works better. These are some of my favorites.

Sometimes I complain about my old Bogen tripod being big and heavy, but I really shouldn't. I stick it in streams willy-nilly and it doesn't complain to me.

I'm a color type as that's how my eyes see, but, these are very nice conversions.

Well yes, most of us do see in full color, but sometimes I feel monochrome has more power. It's hard to describe. For me, sometimes color gets in the way. Not always and I certainly work mostly in color but...ah well. Thanks for the compliment. : )

thanks eMOJO. I've gotten better at placing the tripod to emphasize those. It's part of the challenge, isn't it?
