Download All With SmugVault?

Hi Heros!

Is there a way to "Download All" from the SmugVault? I wanted to have all of my RAW files downloaded to an assistant who will be editing all of the wedding photos...(I am in CA, she is in Texas)

It looks like you can only save them one by one, but I thought I would ask anyway. Thanks!

    Hello,

    While the actual vault itself has no download all tool, you can use the Download All tool in the gallery and that will download the original RAW images in .zip format. You can then forward the resultant links on to your assistant.

    Hello,

    Thanks Ryan. Yes, that is what one would assume, but that is not what happens for me. It appears it will only include the JPG files in the download for a gallery that has a combination of JPG and RAW, and will not generate any emails for the galleries with only Raw Files.

    I have run tests on the following 3 galleries and provided you with the results

    *Clicked On Download All from Tools drop down menu
    *Received message stating SmugMug was generating 5 emails.
    *Received 3 of the 5 emails, containing photos #1-313, which are all JPG files.
    *Never Received Emails 4 and 5, which should have contained photos 314 to 533, all RAW files.

    *Clicked On Download All from Tools drop down menu
    *Received message stating SmugMug was generating 4 emails.
    *Received 1 of the 4 emails, containing photo #11, which is the only JPG file in the gallery.
    *Never Received Emails 2, 3 and 4, which should have contained the other 208 photos all RAW files.

    Thanks Sebastian. Also, it may be worth checking into my billing. It may be using a outdated Credit Card, but, in that case, it "shouldn't" let me upload RAW files to the gallery either.ne_nau.gif

    Looking into this closer, your SmugVault shows up as closed in the account settings > me > account section. If you didn't close the account, perhaps your billing details were outdated and Amazon couldn't bill you and was closed by Amazon? Check your email from Amazon as I'm sure that Amazon informed you of the billing issue if there was one. They should not close any account without informing you in advance.

    Keep in mind that the SmugVault service is between you and Amazon and we have no insight into that.

    I'm very sorry, but with SmugVault closed, it's not possible to reconnect the account back to your SmugMug account even if it's reopened.

    Note that your recent uploads seem to be done with our Lightroom plugin which converts your RAW files to JPG on the fly for uploading. Lightroom preserves the original file name and extension but they are uploaded as JPG.
