Sarah - rose flakes

Sarah is my good friend's doughter and kind of my friend as well.
Came one day to take a few typical portrait shots - and bruht some roses with her - said maybe we can use them . but roses were already wilted - so maybe just flakes - It reminded me of the scene with flakes from a movie : American Beauty ... came out as you see :

Because the photographer stands on the chair and shoots down. The model meanwhile hopes that the chair is very strong.

I am a bit confused as to why you thought you needed the speedlight lighting the back portion of the background though? Maybe I'm missing something.

Bryce Wilson - its actually directed on the ceiling to give me some overall light. but can say as well that was shooting 1st time in this position so - it is not perfect.

Gotham

Very nice shot, but I think it probably would have been more interesting without the ceiling bounce. The lighting is a little flat since it's so even and soft.

on the beginning I was thinking the same Gotham - didnt like the flat tones on her face - but later started to like it - but anyway would be nice to have so more dynamic tones on the face.
