I know this is just a snapshot, but for some reason this view made me to take the camera out of my backpack, so I guess there was something to it :scratch

    Hate to say it but looks to me like a beautiful sky with a "hot" pixel in it.

    Try photoshopping it with a lens flare of about 60 over the star to relect the light from it across the sky nearby. I would do it if I could work out how to paste a good size copy in this thread.

    I like it... maybe because I walked outside and looked up at Venus around the same time you took that shot (and I'm not that far away). It looked incredibly bright in the fading sun.
