My newest MM find Layla. We did three looks and she went from casual country girl to glam plus.

This set is Layla in the box. Click the first image for the entire (uncompleted) Gallery.

I really like the headshot in this series. Winter is coming soon so shoot outside till as long as you can.

#6, very relaxed and not posing. The red flowers behind her, give depth, very easy on the eyes.

The headshot looks blown out on my (calibrated) monitor, especially around her forehead and cheek. I like 6 best to -- most natural and non-posed. As I've said before, I'm rarely a fan of model-y poses, even when the most experienced pros try them.

    Thanks guys.

Brett, I agree that the headshot can be pulled back a bit. I'll go correct it.

As far as "posey" poses, I like candids as well as anyone but NY models need to do posing and I don't mind it at all. I'm just happy when they use different expressions from the blank eyed stare.

Is it me or is there a lot of red/orange in the skin tone? For some reason these don't look processed to me. Almost like their SOOC JPEGs or something.

Not sure Kevin. I can tell you all the WB is stright off a gray card but it's possible there was some ambient light bouncing around.

Technically, the images look pretty darn perfect to me. It seems to me that many of the poses are a little awkward and not particularly flattering, though. Were you going for a certain style with these?

    Thanks Cool.

Kinkajou, the good thing about poses is that everybody feels differently about any specific pose.
While I do direct a model, I also try to leave them some room for creativity. About half the commenters will like them at any given time.

I have been emailing Coco Rocha for a TF but she hasn't responded yet. rolleyes1.gifrofl
