It is commonly called the Wandering Violin Mantis or the Indian Rose Mantis the correct name is Gongylus Gongylodes from the Empusidae family from Sri Lanka, Thailand and India.

I'm so sad I've lived 44 years and never have seen one of these gorgeous things. We have them in my neck of the woods, but I'm blind to them I guess. Or they run from me. : )
