Do not use journal view for hd - no mobile views

I just found out the hard way that SM has either made a change, or has a bug. HD Vid that has been set to "journal" view style no longer plays on Mobile devices. The view style was nice & clean & I've been using it for months. No problems - all Mobile devices played just fine.
Now, on a key weekend w/ a new HD Vid project....... 5600 people tried to view it - only about 1300
got to see it as the other 4300 were on their MOBILE DEVICES.
Now, I looked into this last week along w/ the homepage slideshow hack - and was smugly blown off.
Today, a week later a Hero took the time to look into this. He found a problem, we reset the view style & all works on Mobile devices again.
SM has NO idea what this is going to cost me. I now have doubts about both the security & continuity of service here. The Hero today was great - the three last week should go back to their parents basements & stay there - it'll do everyone a huge service......... A$$holes w/ attitude, how nice.

Would you talk to your mother, sister, son, daughter like that? The heroes you spoke with are all hard-working photographers, friends, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters. I'm no longer at SmugMug but I won't tolerate this sort of treatment of anyone, by anyone. Stop it now or you will be banned from this forum. Oh and by the way, I don't know which heroes handled your cases, but 3 of the many there are my own children. You'll go a lot further in this life being nice to people, even in the face of frustrating responses. In the end, you got the answer (even though it's not one you are happy with). SmugMug has a lot of moving parts, sometimes things get changed, sometimes broken - they are darn good about getting 'em fixed.

Andy - maybe lose the attitude - you sound exactly like the heroes who blew me off and gave me serious attitude about my simple questions. I said I had never seen the "smug" side of Sm - I did the other day.
No, I would not speak to family, co-workers etc that way. But they do not treat others with such disdain, disrespect and lack of attention. If you don't like what I wrote - go ahead & ban me. I could care less. But lose the holier than thou tude....... Did I hit a personal nerve w/ the parents basement comment Andy?
If this forum & SM is so important to you Andy - maybe look @ the reality of security issues & dealing with the bugs. If finding the bugs is left to the users - that is lame IMO. Also, I was lied to several times - something the Hero today confirmed - knowing this is what led to my post & language. if lying is the norm here then I would welcome any language. Lying to cover ones own BS does not fly in my industry.
I got yet another email message from a Hero today that jQuery is not supported on SM. Funny, it's all over SM. It's also JS - used by everyone & my Customizer - MyProFoto. They want to blame jQuery & the Customizer - but have no reason why jQuery would cause any issues - I asked several times.
If you get lied to enough times, it costs you $$, Techs from the same Co say you have been lied to - and nothing gets resolved........are we supposed to be happy & sing SM's praises? Answer that one Andy. Or just ban me & ignore obvious issues. The world needs lemmings too I suppose.
Andy, I agreee the language wasn't the best choice, but you have to realize the anger building up in people with the way Smugmug has changed since you left and then the major price increase. If you really think the people at Smugmug are darn good about getting things fixed, look at what we are going through with the log in issue and the run around we are getting.

The login issue is difficult to pin down, for sure. Personally I don't have a problem staying logging in but I've seen many folks with the problem on this forum and the help desk. Our QA team is trying to figure out this puzzle as fast as best they can, I promise you.

QA works with the developers. They'll find the problem, if there is one.

If I find a bug in the future - I'll be sure not to mention it - whether taken care of in SM's usual, professional manner - or botched like this one. Nice "community" you all have here. Reminds me of Germany in 37'.
Video should play fine in our *current* styles (SmugMug, Thumbnails and Journal).

I have no issue using another style, my issue stems from how we were treated w/ this issue & a couple others - all last week & most still unresolved.
The older styles don't need to be updated - not asking for that. I would have liked to have known they developed a bug or had an issue - but spent a week getting
the run around & blown off. All the while - people could not view my HD work. When I looked for support - I got assigned blame & assorted, unrelated excuses for the problem.
If Sebastian had looked @ the Help ticket - there is more to it than just the "journal old"....... I have the email of the whole Hero chat yesterday - was sent to me when it was kicked upstairs. What really bothers me is the lack of continuity w/ the support. Yes, there are some fantastic & very helpful techs @ SM. I had only experienced that until last week. The Homepage hack is still an open issue - please, lets not gloss that over again.
