I have a question in case anyone has an answer. Has anyone used a HP x4000 workstation with Photoshop/Video Editing? I know they are great for CAD (I know work has used them up until the last upgrade for CAD) I was thinking about a new machine but the specs on these used machines look great....

Vintage late 2001 or 2002
2GB RAM
Dual Processor Xenon 2.0Ghz
ATI Fire GL4 Graphics Card with 128MB RAM
10,000 rpm SCSI Hard Drive 72GB
24" CRT monitor - Sony Trinitron GDM- FW900 (94 lbs.)

And the thing to get my attention... $200. I think the monitor is probably work that. Any comments?

Thanks.

Micheal

My company had a survey to request a purchase for them. They said they may or may not be available. I hope they do and will, since I know that were all replaced in the last few months. It is open to GM employees.
