It has been a while since I've posted any images, I have some catching up to do.

Both of these shots were taken in Mt. Assiniboine Provincial Park in the Candian Rockies area. I only spent two nights here and it was a big mistake it should have been three times that long. The area is ripe with beautiful vistas. I highly recommend it.

I was fortunate to be able to capture a reflection this particular morning. I had recon'd this boggy area the day before and knew this was a perfect spot but there were also multiple other compositions in this area. When I arrived in the morning the next day 90% of the water was frozen over, but the one area I really wanted to shoot was ice free. Sometimes Mother Nature is on your side.

This next shot is of Sunburst Mountain. The hill that I climbed up is comprised of the Niblet, the Nublet, the Nub and Nub Peak. All I can tell you for certain is I was not on Nub Peak. lol I believe it was shot between the Nublet and the Nub, but regardless the views seemed to get better as I climbed.

Two fantastic shots, I particularly love the light striking the mountain in the second. The second having one mountain closer than the rest also gives a greater feeling of depth for me, but they are both beautiful scenes. Thanks for sharing these!

Landscapes like this are so breathtaking (to me anyway) and in this case so well photographed that most compliments seem trivial. They are all that and more. Living in the flattest state in the US I envy folks who have "geography"... and some more than others!

Thank you Pat, the closest mountain is Sunburst and it really is visually stunning, but I agree both together compliment each other.

The second looks as if it's got a mini-Eiger in the background.

Both are beautiful shots. My only criticism is they look over processed.

These are terrific. I'm quick to find things overprocessed but these don't seem that way to me.

Yeah, these are great shots. I'm sorry I missed them first time around. Processing looks good to me too.

WOA - I really love the work you have done here - I would love to visit your part of the world some time - I live in New Zealand which is beautiful in its own right. but there is something about the scale of the scenery that we don't have.
